Clinical Nurse Specialist - Paediatric Palliative Care

If you are an expert paediatric nurse with palliative care knowledge and experience and would like to join a specialist palliative care team we would love to talk to you. We are looking for someone who is, not only, passionate about quality paediatric care but also able to model best practice to other providers through expert advice, support and education. This is a new strategic consultancy role covering the South Island. You will have experience with children’s health care delivery across both Hospital and community settings. This position is unique and will be based between Nurse Maude Hospice Palliative Care Service and Women’s and Children’s Health Division CDHB.  

The ideal person for the role will be a leader who can manage change and influence practice and delivery of services at both regional and national level. You should have the ability to work autonomously as well as be an excellent team player. You will have a minimum of 5 years child health experience, and possess a relevant post graduate qualification at Masters Level or be working towards it.

Support Workers

To deliver the best possible care to our clients we need your caring and compassionate nature coupled with solid practical skills and a cool head. If you enjoy working with a diverse range of people in the community and are experienced in delivering personal care and hygiene assistance, we need you.

Experienced support workers required to provide personal care to our clients. Previous experience required in either Community home support or Aged Care. ACE or Aged Care Certificate or National Foundations Certificate preferred. Day, evening and weekend hours available throughout most areas in Christchurch.
