Nurse Maude is now accepting applications for Home Care Support Workers
Do you have?
• Great people and customer service skills
• Sound judgement, common sense and decision making skills
• Good written and spoken English and basic maths
• The ability to communicate with others so that they can understand
• A current full driver’s licence, access to a suitable vehicle and a clean police record
Are you?
• Respectful of differences in people
• Able to work independently in client’s homes
• Punctual and reliable and able to concentrate on tasks without getting distracted
• Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
• Physically fit and with good eyesight
After training towards a nationally recognised qualification, your duties would include any or all of the following;
• General housework
• Essential shopping and food preparation
• Showering, and personal grooming of clients
• Continence management, mobility and manual handling
• Other duties such as applying compression hosiery, administering medication, and helping client’s to achieve their personal goals

Community Support Workers –TotalCare
Nurse Maude TotalCare was developed as a ‘stay at home’ alternative to residential care following the Christchurch earthquake.
If you enjoy working with a diverse range of people and like working independently in the community then we’d like to talk to you. You will need to be available to work 8 hour rostered shifts that will include weekends and evenings. We offer a supportive working environment, very competitive rates of pay and the opportunity and support to develop your skills.
Considerable experience, a minimum of 2 years, in either community home support or Aged Care is essential as well as possessing Level 2 Foundation skills or equivalent qualifications.
A current driver’s licence, permanent resident visa, access to a vehicle and a clean police record are required.
