Linen Hire Service
Nurse Maude’s Linen Hire and Laundry Service provides free linen to people
who are unable to launder items of linen in their own home.
It is also available to anyone for six weeks after surgery at a Canterbury
public hospital if they are assessed as needing the service. Clients
receiving this service may hire sheets, draw sheets, towels and pillow case and
some charges will apply. Please contact us to discuss the eligibility criteria for this service.
There is also a hire facility for extra linen if required.
Clients of the Nurse Maude Hospice Palliative Care and Continence Services
can be referred to this service.
Community Linen Service
This is an affordable service for clients who do not meet the criteria for a free service.
Nurse Maude will launder your towels, sheets, pillowcases, duvets (not
feathered), duvet covers, underlays and bedspreads and have a pick up and
delivery service.
The Nurse Maude Linen Service driver delivers to the home.
People can access the service directly or through Nurse Maude staff, their GP or other health professionals.
Payment can be made directly
to the driver by cash or cheque, or alternatively by monthly account.
The service is open from 7.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday with deliveries made
approximately between 9am and 2.30pm daily.
