Diabetes Service

Nurse Maude provides assistance, support and information for people newly diagnosed with diabetes and their families in their own home or workplace from Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, including assistance with the start of insulin or changes in medication.

Access to this service is by referral through a Diabetes centre, Diabetes Specialist, doctor or hospital and is free of charge. Community Nursing gives ongoing support to diabetics via a 24 hour, seven day a week service.

Clinic Hours

By appointment 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, at 35 Mansfield Avenue, Christchurch. Home visits are by arrangement.
