Dr Catherine Andrew is Head of Nursing and Allied Health at ARA Institute of Canterbury (ARA) and Director of Nursing at the University of Canterbury, School of Health Sciences. She has extensive experience as a nurse in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and as a nurse educator and manager at ARA. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Newcastle.  Catherine does consultancy work for a number of nursing education providers nationally and is an auditor for the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
