Since its inception in 1989, the Nurse Maude Foundation has been the financial support for Nurse Maude's projects and initiatives that are not easily able to be funded elsewhere.
Major building projects, research and development, including setting up the New Zealand Institute of Community Health Care, Volunteer Services and the administration of the Patient Welfare Fund and Campbell Ballantyne Fellowship Grant have all benefited from the Nurse Maude Foundation.
The foundation looks to the long term, making sure the work of Nurse Maude and the structure and facilities needed to support that work will endure for future generations.
Just as enduring, therefore, are the bequests received by the Foundation which are a tangible legacy of care and a true partnership between Nurse Maude and the community.
If you feel able to support that work in your will please contact us. In doing so, know that you can leave no greater legacy than one which is dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable in our community. Our thanks, as always, go to those who have done so in the past. The result of their generosity can be seen in our work here every day, and for that we are most grateful.
